We chose this dust bin because:
¢ It is made entirely from recycled materials
¢ It allows us to select garbage into: paper (blue), plastic (yellow), glass (green) and organic waste (red)
¢ It can be emptied easily
¢ It occupies little space
¢ It is colorful and funny, so it looks nice
For this dustbin we used two big cardboard boxes, 4 smaller ones and old newspapers
Pupils cut the two big boxes and then glued them together to obtain the skeleton of the drawer
They added two shelves and after some amount of work, they obtained a small drawer:
Then they arranged the drawers: they drew them and they put handles made from the same box
In the end they wrapped the dust bin in old newspaper and it looks like this
